COMING OUT

by Isabelle Milkoff

About the artist…

Born and raised in Paris, France, Isabelle Milkoff moved to New York in 2010 and took advantage of this movement to change the direction of her creative work. Once in New York she took classes with the New York collagists Mariah Fee, at Parsons, and Ellen Alt. She studied with Beatrice Coron and took Illustration classes with Elizabeth Sayles at the SVA. Always expanding her circle of experiences, Isabelle submitted her work to various galleries and participated in group show: at Ceres Gallery in Chelsea in 2014, at 440 Gallery, Brooklyn, in 2014 and 2015, at the Pen and Brush Gallery in April 15. She was selected for the first Park Slope Festival in 2016. Lately some of her work was exhibited at the Limner Gallery in Hudson, NY, at The Really Affordable Art Show at BWAC in Red Hook and at the NAWA Gallery, NYC. Buoyed by the success of her imagination, she dares more and more, feeling the universal need to make art.
