Twin Peaks in Richmond

Maggie Graff’s day job is in the realm of classical noise, ensuring a small non-profit chamber music festival in her hometown is properly promoted and executed. When she is not managing that, she finds herself at smaller, more impromptu congregations of noise to take photographs. Initially, it seemed that these two means of spending her time were quite different, but upon looking at the photographs, it’s evident that when inserting ourselves into these live experiences, we’re all essentially there to witness noise transpose into art.
