About the author…

Robert Kirk Scott is an aspiring author who is a Senior in the Creative Writing/English: Fiction undergraduate curriculum at Southern New Hampshire University. He focuses on themes of marginalization and the problem individuals face as “outcasts.” Kirk has spent years trying to make sense of his Southern cultural experience in several Southern states, and currently has firmly planted himself in Rocky Mount, North Carolina where he rides his bike, works at being a better gardener, and puts words together. His writing has been featured in local newspapers and magazines, and in The Penmen Review.
